Your reason to take progress pictures!

This is your sign to take progress pictures for yourself! I didn’t realise how much progress I had made until I compared these photos. I was honestly in shock!

Before ~ this was taken at the beginning of my weight lifting journey in January 2021. I started slowly by doing glute activations with a band then slowly tried hip thrusts with a supported bar at the gym with 10kg each side and slowly worked up.

After ~ was taken a few weeks ago May 2022. Now I am doing 45kg each side totalling as 90kg still with a supported bar in the next month I am going to progress to free weight bar.

Introduction

We've all heard the saying: "Rome wasn't built in a day." In other words, you can't expect to be successful overnight. If you want to reach your goals, it's important to understand that progress comes from small steps taken consistently over time. These steps may not seem like much on their own, but when combined with other small actions—and maybe even some big ones—they can lead to significant change in our lives.

be intentional

As you move forward with your goals, it's important to focus on the process and not the result. A little progress can go a long way!

As you work toward your goal, take progress pictures all the time. Small progress is still progress! When you see yourself progressing, even if it's just a little bit each day or week, it will help keep you motivated and remind you that there are benefits to working hard. This way when life throws curveballs at you (and trust me: it will), you won't let those setbacks derail your efforts—you'll stay on track because they're normal parts of life and don't have anything do with whether or not what needs to get done gets done successfully in the end anyway!

Be consistent in everything that matters most to achieve success; consistency breeds success because once something becomes part of who we are as individuals then there's no stopping us from achieving our goals no matter how long they may seem impossible at first glance because when something becomes habitual for us then things become easier over time – but only if we stick with them consistently throughout their lifespan until completion which takes perseverance on our part."

be consistent

Consistency is key to success. If you want to see results, you can’t just do one thing and expect them to happen overnight. Small changes add up over time, so it’s important that you stick with it and build good habits instead of relying on short-term fixes like pills or fad diets.

You won't be able to change your eating habits overnight either – but if you commit yourself to making small changes consistently over time, eventually your new behaviors will become second nature!

Here are some ideas for small changes you can make:

your focus should be on the process, not the result

"The journey is the reward."

Conclusion

In the end, the process is what counts. You can't always be perfect - but if you keep going and keep trying... if you never give up... then you'll be successful in time. In other words: slow and steady wins the race.
